About Us

Almost Yesterday’s Antiques was started back in 2011. Though my hubby, Charlie is retired (LOL) and I am still teaching, we decided to establish our shop in the small town of Dover, Tennessee, where people know each other by name.

Our place is an eclectic shop with antiques, primitives, collectibles, home décor, and gifts. We also re-purpose items, carry a variety of vintage jewelry, and painted furniture. We strive to offer items made in the USA. The wooden signs we carry are made by mentally challenged adults. We truly appreciate each purchased sign as we work together to help them lead productive lives. Our candles are made in the USA, use lead-free wicks, and smell absolutely wonderful. The soap line we carry is gluten-free, vegan-friendly, beautiful, and makes your skin feel, oh so soft. We also feature Polish Pottery from Poland.

We have proudly grown to become the North-Western TN Stockist for Chalk Paint Decorative Paint ® by Annie Sloan, and recently expanded to our second location in Clarksville, TN.

We truly aim to be your one stop shop for the DIYer, as well as, a go to place for home décor to see what can be achieved easily and economically. Even if you haven’t picked up a paint brush, you can do this and we have workshops to help you get doing.
